Apart from the 5:1 bonus, Sandur Manganese also issued a final dividend of ₹1 per share, which followed dividends of ₹5 per share each in 2022 and 2023 respectively.
This will be the second instance in the last 12 months that the company will be considering a bonus issue of shares.
Back in 2024, the company had announced a bonus issue in the 5:1 ratio, which means shareholders had received five bonus shares for every one share that they held as on the record date.
Record date for the bonus issue of shares under consideration, is yet to be determined.
Apart from the 5:1 bonus, Sandur Manganese also issued a final dividend of ₹1 per share, which followed dividends of ₹5 per share each in 2022 and 2023 respectively. The 2024 bonus is the first and the only free issue of shares that the company has issued for its shareholders.
Shares of Sandur Manganese saw a sharp spike towards the close of the trading session, ending 5.8% higher at ₹474.7. The stock has risen 13% so far in 2025.
