Strategically located within Nagpur’s MIHAN special economic zone, ITPL operates a state-of-the-art greenfield facility spread over 30 acres, with capacity for 15 aircraft bays across 10 hangars. Approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and other international regulators, the company offers a full range of services, including lease return checks, heavy C-checks, structural repairs, and aircraft painting.
Jeet Adani, Director at Adani Airports, said the acquisition comes at a time when India’s aviation industry is poised for rapid growth, with over 1,500 new aircraft expected to join domestic fleets in the coming years.
With this deal, Adani Defence & Aerospace aims to tap into synergies between ITPL and aviation company Air Works, offering integrated solutions to both commercial and defence aviation sectors.
The shares of Adani Enterprises ended nearly 5% in the green on the BSE on Monday, August 11.
