A Fellow of the UK Association of Certified Public Accountants, he began his career at the Center for Strategic and International Studies before spending 17 years at PwC, rising to partner. He has since led multi-billion-dollar investments and transformation projects across refining, petrochemicals, gas distribution, trading and infrastructure.
Nayara thanked outgoing CEO Sergey Denisov for steering the company through a period of change. Denisov will remain Chief Development Officer, leading its petrochemicals and strategic initiatives.
